The Sports Xchange reports that new Titans GM Ruston Webster said WR Kenny Britt, who suffered a torn ACL in September and had surgery in early October, should return in time for training camp in 2012. He said Britt appears to be a fast healer and is ahead of schedule in his recovery. "Kenny has been working hard and he's coming fast, probably even a little faster than I thought he would. So I'm real happy about that," he said. "We expect to have him out there for training camp. The good thing about his injury, is there is a good thing, is it happened early, and he's a very strong young and bounces back very quickly. We're hoping and planning to have him back for training camp."

Washington was targeted six times before halftime, but he made just two catches for 14 yards. In the third quarter, though, Washington caught a deep pass from QB Matt Hasselbeck for a 55-yard gain, which ultimately helped to set up a 33-yard field goal by Rod Bironas. Late in the fourth quarter, Washington scored on a 23-yard pass from Hasselbeck, which put the Titans up for good. He finished with four catches for 92 yards.

New Titans GM Ruston Webster addressed the future of RB Chris Johnson as well as his offensive line on Thursday, making it clear that the rusher will be back with the team next season. Johnson is due $8 million in 2012 and posted career-worst numbers after signing a rich contract just before the start of the 2011 season (missing all of training camp). Johnson racked up 1,047 rushing yards, 418 receiving yards and four rushing touchdowns last year behind an offensive line that did a pretty good job in pass protection but did struggle to open up running lanes. "We'll have to work on our run game and make it better," Webster said. "That may entail some things in the offensive line."
