49ers may keep two kickers for playoff game against Packers

The 49ers are sticking with David Akers as their kicker for this week after signing veteran kicker Billy Cundiff as competition, but they could still have two kickers active against the Packers, according to a league source.

Cundiff was not released Friday and is not expected to be released before the game.

Coach Jim Harbaugh could go into the game with both kickers active so that, should Akers struggle early, he could turn to Cundiff.
