NFL Week 11 Best Bets: Three road dogs, one road blowout

Another week, another set of disappointing results. At least I was all over the Panthers outright, and against the spread, in San Francisco. But, um, as for the rest of it, well, another crap week for me.

This week I'm trying to focus on divisional games, because, well, why not.

Chiefs (+8½) at Broncos: I'm not sure the Chiefs win this game, but they have enough pass rush to keep it close. Peyton Manning is hobbling around and is very conscious of being hit and he doesn't have a left tackle. That's a bad combination against a KC team that is pounding the quarterback. Denver may have to go with a very heavy ground attack and that should further help keep this game close. Give me the points and the superior defense.

Jets (+1½) at Bills: New York comes off its bye and has a defensive line to wreak havoc here against a rookie quarterback who is struggling and still getting back to full health. The Jets will bring the pressure and win individual battles and they are built to neutralize the Bills' run game -- Buffalo's greatest asset. The Jets have the inside track to a playoff spot and I believe they won't have any letdowns here.

Browns (+5½) at Bengals: Cleveland has the defense to win this game outright, Andy Dalton has become a turnover machine and the Browns have been very tough within the division. Jason Campbell has sparked a downfield attack and Joe Haden can take A.J. Green out of the game. The Bengals aren't getting the tight end production they hoped for and I don't think they can run the ball on Cleveland either. Pressure is mounting on the Bengals and the Browns are loosey goosey off the bye. I like them here.

Cardinals (-7½) at Jaguars: This defense will force the Jags into mistakes, Jacksonville can't throw the ball without suspended Justin Blackmon and can't run it either. The Jaguars had an emotional win last week, but the reality is they have been getting blown out most weeks and I suspect they lose by a few scores here against a hungry Arizona team that needs to stack wins in order to try to stay in the playoff race.
