Alabama tackle Cyrus Kouandijo, a potential first-round pick, will not require a post-combine medical recheck in Indianapolis, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

Kouandijo had a poor performance at the combine, which some attributed to a knee surgery from two years prior. However, contrary to an NFL Network report, the prospect did not fail physicals and in fact his knee is clean and will not require further testing.

In response to that report, Dr. James Andrews, who did not perform Kouandijo's surgery, sent a letter to all 32 NFL teams detailing the history and status of Kouandijo's knee. The player did not require additional treatment for the knee and did not miss practice or game time while at Alabama.
