Rodgers lights up the Texans

HOUSTON -- So what's wrong with the Green Bay Packers offense?

Not much -- at least for a night.

Aaron Rodgers, who came into Sunday night's blowout of the Houston Texans somewhat in a slump -- at least by his standards -- lit up the Texans to tie a a team-record with six touchdown passes as the Packers righted things in a big way.

Somehow, he made the league's fourth-ranked passing defense his own seven-on-seven drill, carving them up with the precision we've come to expect from Rodgers, who was the league MVP last season.

Entering Sunday's game, Rodgers had 10 touchdown passes and four interceptions. He left with 16 and four. Jordy Nelson had three touchdown catches with James Jones getting two.

For the Packers, who lost to the Colts last week, it was a season-saver of sorts. The Packers evened their record at 3-3.

It must be nice to have Rodgers to fix all your problems.
