Video: Taiwanese animation on NHL lockout -- Who's to blame? Who watches hockey in Taiwan?

By Brian Stubits | Hockey writer

You knew it was only a matter of time before Taiwanese animators shared their view on the NHL lockout.

Boy, the wait was it worth it.

My favorite part of the video: They used poutine to represent the "pie" that owners and players are trying to split -- the pie being hockey-related revenue. What better way to represent a sport embedded so deep in Canada than through poutine? Perfect.

I have a sneaking suspicion after watching this video that the animators don't feel too bad for the owners in this whole impasse, making them out to be some super villain from an action movie.

Well done again, NMA.
