Because the city of Boston is under a blanket of snow, the NHL has postponed Saturday's game between the Bruins and Lightning.

The game was scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET before the NHL announced Friday that it would be pushed back to 7 p.m. But because of the weather conditions and how they would impact fans, staff and arena workers getting to the arena, the league has postponed the game to another date.

Damian Cristodero of the Tampa Bay Times reports the Lightning will take a bus to New York to play the Rangers on Sunday.

The NHL has not announced when the Lightning-Bruins game will be played.
