Video: Anze Kopitar's day with the Stanley Cup in Slovenia

By Adam Gretz | Hockey writer

The Stanley Cup made its first ever appearance in Slovenia this past week thanks to Los Angeles Kings forward Anze Kopitar.

Kopitar, of course, is the only player in NHL history to come from Slovenia and he decided to spend his day with the Cup in his home country. He took it to some rather impressive sights, including Bled Castle as shown in this video from the Kings...

The Kings have a few other videos of Kopitar at their website that are worth checking out. They include him eating breakfast out of the Cup, taking it to a church on an island, and a quick stop at his local golf course to play a hole with it.
