It's official: Teemu Selanne will be back for at least one more season in the NHL.

The Anaheim Ducks announced on Thursday that club and Selanne have agreed to terms on a one-year contract. The team did not disclose the financial terms of the deal, but according to Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times it's worth $4.5 million.

“While I'm still amazed by his speed and skill level, it's Teemu's love for the game and his teammates that make him so special,” general manager Bob Murray in a team statement. “Anaheim is where he belongs.”

The 41-year-old Selanne has shown no signs of slowing down and is coming off a 2011-12 season where he scored 26 goals to go with 40 assists in 82 games.

In 1,341 career games he's scored 663 goals which is good enough for 13th on the all time list.
