Video: Ilya Bryzgalov really was in spacesuit at mission control

By Adam Gretz | Hockey writer

A few days ago, we passed along a bizarre interview with Philadelphia Flyers goalie Ilya Bryzgalov. He refused to answer questions because he was, in his words, in a spacesuit at mission control.

Coming from most players, that would be completely crazy. Coming from Ilya Bryzgalov, it was just a little crazy.

As it turns out, Bryzgalov really was in a spacesuit at mission control, and here is the video to prove it.

Warning: the video is in Russian, but who cares? If you're like us, you're only interested in the visual of Bryzgalov, the NHL's greatest amateur astronomer, dressed as a cosmonaut.

It all starts to happen around the five-minute mark. The only thing we can make out is the "Darth Vader" reference at 5:45.
