I don't know why, but there is always something somewhat comical about a player attempting a check near the bench, missing his intended target and then actually ending up on the bench, upside down.
Well, it's funny when nobody gets hurt.
That's what happened to Atlant's Artyom Dorofeyev on Wednesday when he attempted to finish a check on former Rangers forward Mats Zuccarello.
That's an example of how not to do it. We should also point out that the teammate to the right of Dorofeyev, the one who gave him a "what are you doing?" type of glare as Dorofeyev attempted to pick himself up, is lucky he didn't take a skate to the face.
