This is fun.
Here is Ryan Kesler phoning a Canucks season-ticket holder, Jeffrey Bell, to inform him that he had been randomly chosen to take part in the opening puck drop ceremony before Vancouver's home opener against the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday.
Bell, a doctor by trade, had to put Kesler on hold before he could be informed of his prize because he was, in the words of the good doctor, "in the middle of a pelvic exam."
The money line: "I kind of had my hands full."
And with that: Hockey is back.
