It could have been ugly for the New York Rangers on Tuesday night as they seemed to do everything in their power to lose their game in Boston, blowing a three-goal third-period lead in the final 12 minutes before ultimately picking up a 4-3 win in the shootout.

But before their third period collapse started, Rick Nash made what has to be the pass of the year (to this point) when he set up Carl Hagelin in the first period.

It was Hagelin's fourth goal of the year, but the play was made entirely by Nash.

With three goals in 12 games, Nash hasn't quite been the goal scorer he was expected to be in New York, but he's always been an underrated playmaker -- and an incredible puck handler -- and it was all on display here.
