The NHL Daily Fix is your morning wakeup call with news and notes for the day's hockey action.

Morning Buzz

Meanwhile, Flames goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff is going to be out another two weeks with an MCL issue. (Calgary Flames)

Rangers forward Brian Boyle has been a scratch for a few games in a row and he's not too pleased about it. (ESPN New York)

The Predators just can't score and yet they're picking up points because of Pekka Rinne in goal. But he's getting a little tired of the lack of support. (Tennessean)

Wednesday schedule

Ottawa at Pittsburgh (7 ET)
St. Louis at Detroit (7:30 ET, NBC Sports Net)
Dallas at Calgary (9:30 ET)
