• Jay Bouwmeester played the 735th game of his career Tuesday night and still hasn't reached the playoffs. That means he has passed Guy Charron for most games played without making the postseason. The longest drought to start a career is held by JayBo's former teammate in Florida, Olli Jokinen, but that drought ended a few years back. (ESPN)
• This season, the injuries have been coming so fast and furious it's tough for us to keep up, but here's a few of the noteworthy ones. The Canadiens announced Tuesday that Rene Bourque is out with a concussion. The scariest part is they aren't quite sure when he sustained it. (Montreal Gazette)
