Drew Doughty has been unfairly dogged at times for not scoring enough this year, but Monday night in Chicago he reminded everyone just how special he can be with the puck on his stick.

After the Blackhawks took a 3-2 lead on a Patrick Kane goal late in the second period, Doughty had just enough time on the clock for one last rush. Only problem was he had all five Blackhawks skaters and goaltender Corey Crawford standing between him and the goal.

It didn't matter.

Doughty skated through a few lazy stick checks and powered through the zone. He could have gotten knocked off the puck a few times, but Doughty kept right on going. He got a shot on net, but it was stopped by Crawford. The puck then bounced right to Dwight King, who had the puck glance off his skate and into the net.

The play was reviewed and the goal stood. It will likely go down as the most fantastic goal Drew Doughty never scored.
