Jarome Iginla is on his way to Pittsburgh according to the Penguins. After a brief holdup, Iginla's immigration petition was approved, clearing him to join his new club. Though he is expcted to be in Pittsburgh on Saturday, the Penguins did not specify if Iginla would be available to suit up for their game against the New York Islanders on Saturday afternoon.

Iginla, a Canadian citizen, had to await the work visa before he could be allowed to play for the Penguins. Now that it's all cleared up, the only thing stopping him from suiting up in a game is the team's reported desire to help Iginla acclimate in a practice.

That could mean Iginla won't be in the lineup Saturday as the Penguins look to extend their 14-game winning streak. Maybe if he makes it in time to participate in the morning skate, that would be good enough for coach Dan Bylsma, but the Penguins offered no further details in announcing Iginla's imminent arrival.

With the whole gang about to be together for the first time after general manager Ray Shero's wheeling and dealing, the Penguins will have some tough decisions to make about the lineup that has performed so well this season. As our Adam Gretz suggested earlier Friday, Iginla could find a home on a line with Evgeni Malkin and James Neal, which is scary to think about for anyone not a fan of or on the Penguins.
