AWhat a complete performance by the Bruins. They completely shut down the Blackhawks, at even strength and when Chicago had the power play, and managed to get a couple of big goals from Daniel Paille and Patrice Bergeron.
DI know the Blackhawks were playing without Marian Hossa in Game 3, but this was not the type of showing you expect from a Stanley Cup Final team. Especially one with the level of talent the Blackhawks have. The power play was a mess once again, and they never really tested Tuukka Rask at all. They missed the net a lot, the shots they did manage to get on goal were from the outside, and it was just an all-around bad performance.
AJaromir Jagr didn't get a goal (again), but he was outstanding every time he was on the ice (again). His pass to set up Bergeron's power play goal in the second period was a thing of beauty and about as perfect as a pass could be in that situation.
FWhat in the world was Dave Bolland doing in Game 3? He was terrible in the faceoff circle, he was guilty of the turnover that led to Boston's first goal, and he committed three penalties.
ADaniel Paille played a heck of a game for Boston in Game 3, picking up where he left off in Game 2 when he scored the game-winning goal in overtime. Paille opened the scoring on Monday with a strip-and-steal goal and later drew a penalty to help set up Boston's second goal.
