If you have watched a Blackhawks game in Chicago at all in the last few years, you have undoubtedly heard their goal song, Chelsea Dagger by the Fratellis. It has become synonymous with a Blackhawks goal and a Hawks win; they go together like peanut butter and jelly.
Some have grown sick of the song but mostly because it means the Blackhawks did something good and, you know, that's only good for the Blackhawks. It is definitely their anthem.
That's where the Chicago Symphony Orchestra comes in, paying tribute to the Hawks and wishing them luck through the power of music with a fantastic orchestral rendition of Chelsea Dagger complete with music director Riccardo Mutti in a customized Blackhawks/Jonathan Toews jersey.
I gotta say, that song comes out pretty dang great in an orchestra, now doesn't it? Even Roberto Luongo has to like that.
