The Chicago Blackhawks are locked in a close series with the Boston Bruins for the Stanley Cup. Each team is just two wins away from claiming hockey's ultimate prize but that didn't stop one Blackhawks fan from going all in on this year's team.
Russell Pederson already had a Stanley Cup tattoo done in 2010 in honor of each of Chicago's four titles. However, the Momence, Ill., native felt it needed some updating, even though this year's Stanley Cup Final has yet to be decided.

There it is in bold ink: “2013.” That's some serious confidence.
So, you're not superstitious, Russell?
"I don't believe in jinxes," Pederson told NBC 5 Chicago. "I do believe it'll go seven games, but I'm confident the Hawks are going to win the Cup."
Making this act even bolder, Pederson had the ink done before Chicago's 6-5 overtime win in Game 4. Yes, before a game that could have given Boston a 3-1 series lead.
Apparently his tattoo artist even tried to talk him out of it, but Pederson would not relent.
Don't worry folks, Pederson has a backup plan if the Blackhawks fall to the Bruins this year.
"I'll just wait until 2018 and hope they win it then, so I can put another three on the opposite side," he told NBC 5's Marcus Riley.
Sounds foolproof to me.
