Patrice Bergeron did not take part in the Boston Bruins' morning skate before Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday night.

That doesn't necessarily mean Bergeron won't be available for the game. He is expected to dress for pregame warmups, according to Bruins coach Claude Julien.

"Patrice will dress for warmup tonight, and I'm feeling confident he will play," Julien said.

After telling that to the English-speaking media, Julien was a bit more forthcoming in French. Thanks to Arpon Basu for the translation:

That would be pretty big news for the Bruins if Bergeron is able to play and contribute.

The Bruins have been quiet when it comes to the injury, deciding to refer to it only as "a body injury."

Boston was using rookie forward Carl Soderberg on a line between Jaromir Jagr and Brad Marchand during the skate. Soderberg made his playoff debut in Game 5, playing 14 minutes in the Bruins' 3-1 loss that gave the Blackhawks a 3-2 series lead. He appeared in six games during the regular season, recording two assists.

Jay Pandolfo was also splitting time with Jordan Caron skating on a fourth line with Rich Peverley and Shawn Thornton. Julien said both Pandolfo and Caron will also take part in warmups.
