The Los Angeles Kings have acquired forward Daniel Carcillo from the Chicago Blackhawks for a conditional 2015 draft pick, the team announced on Tuesday evening.

Carcillo has one year remaining on his contract and will count $825,000 against the salary cap next season.

He appeared in 23 games for the Blackhawks last season, scoring two goals to go with one assist. He saw action in four playoff games for Chicago on its way to the Stanley Cup.

Injuries have really limited him in recent years, and he hasn't been all that productive. He has been one of the most penalized players in the league since making his debut during the 2006-07 season.
