Since Ted Nolan came aboard to run the Buffalo Sabres again, he has made it known he's interested in shaking up the roster some. They already sent Nikita Zadorov to juniors and more moves could be coming.

It's easy to send players back to juniors but sometimes tougher to actually fill those spots. Perhaps that would explain why the Sabres are taking a gamble of all gambles on their latest addition:

Well if the Sabres want to start WINNING, I guess that's as good of an idea as any.

However there is a major concern here, making this gamble even bigger: how will the team chemistry be affected? Recall last year during the lockout, Sheen and Sabres defenseman Christian Ehrhoff had a little run-in on Twitter and while they said they cleared the air, you never can be sure with those types of things.

Perhaps Sheen doesn't have a ton of experience playing hockey but we know he comes from a hockey family. You will all fondly recall that brother Emilio Estevez (perhaps better known as Gordon Bombay) once led the USA to gold in the Junior Goodwill Games.

OK, so by now you likely realized that Sheen is not actually joining the team, he was just given a customized sweater by Ryan Miller and his wife Noureen DeWulf, who appears opposite Sheen on the show Anger Management. But man, wouldn't it be funny if he actually did play? At this point, it might me a publicity stunt worth trying for all involved.
