Here's more from the Pens:
The jersey features a chrome-treated Penguins logo design inspired from the chrome details of the NHL shield, a dynamic and modern look to conventional team identity.
Numbering on the back of the jerseys is enlarged and sleeve numbers are angled to improve visibility in outdoor venues.
Compared to the Ducks and Kings jerseys unveiled a few weeks back, these are pretty normal by comparison. Aside from the chrome logo, the jersey doesn't stray too far from the traditional. The Pens keep their primary color scheme and have a nice extra jersey fans might actually want to buy.
"I like the logo with the silver accent and metallic look," jersey model Chris Kunitz said. "It has a different kind of fit with the striping. The socks and pants all tie into one. It's a good look. It keeps the original intact, but changed enough to play in an outdoor game."

Public tickets for the Soldier Field game sold out in less than 24 hours according to the NHL. The game will feature two of the best teams from their respective conferences and some of the NHL's biggest stars.
