The Canadian Olympic team announcement is a week old now, but 24CH, the behind-the-scenes series that follows the Montreal Canadiens, got a good look at what it is like for players that made the Olympic team. Cameras followed defenseman P.K. Subban and goaltender Carey Price as they had gotten word they would be going to Sochi with Team Canada.

Subban looked like a relieved, but incredibly happy man after he got word. He walked the halls of the Bell Centre receiving congratulations from teammates and Canadiens staffers.

Cameras were on Price as he got the call. Let's just say he didn't look surprised.

Tomas Plekanec had the line of the video, though.

As Subban tells Plekanec he made Team Canada, the Czech Republic's captain lightly ribbed his Habs teammate.

“'Good for Czechs,' he says,” Subban shared with the cameras after walking away from Plekanec.

Price might end up being Canada's starter in net, while Subban's role is less clear. Either way, it's always neat to see when a couple of players realize their dreams.
