The St. Louis Blues will get their leading goal scorer back. The team announced Friday that Alexander Steen has been activated from injured reserve and will return to the lineup Saturday night against the Anaheim Ducks.

Steen has missed the last 11 games with a concussion, but the Blues haven't really missed a beat. They won eight of those 11 games. Even so, getting Steen back into the lineup certainly is a big boost.

Before going down with the head injury, Steen scored 24 goals, already matching his previous career high. He has 38 points in 35 games played so far this year and will be participating in the Olympics as a member of Team Sweden.

It will be interesting to see how the long layoff impacted Steen. He's obviously in the middle of the best season of his career and to have it derailed like that could make things difficult. Steen goes right into the fire, too, as the Ducks are the best team in hockey right now. Either way, St. Louis gets to add a big piece back into their lineup.

Steen's 24 goals lead the Blues, while his 38 points put him second on the squad.
