When the Cincinnati Cyclones take the ice Saturday night in an ECHL game against the Fort Wayne Komets, they'll look like a bunch of Captain Americas skating around tout there. No, it's not to honor newly selected U.S. Olympic Team captain Zach Parise. It is, however, part of a nice promotion that is fun for kids and honors those in the armed services.

Saturday is Military Appreciation Night in Cincinnati, while it's also doubling as Super Hero Night. Here's what the Cyclones will be wearing:

Snazzy and patriotic.

From the Cyclones:

The Cyclones will be wearing special "Captain America" jerseys - one of the most iconic superhero uniforms in history - while honoring our real-life super heros [sic] of the military!

These special jerseys will be auctioned off immediately after the game to benefit AFTA.

AFTA stands for Armed Forces Ticket Association, which is a local charity that helps provide free or deeply discounted tickets to various sporting or entertainment events for members of the military and their families.

Ironman will apparently be on hand for pictures as well and the first 1500 kids in the building get a cape. Not a bad little night at the ol' hockey arena for the family.
