Marian Hossa was built for hockey. He may be a hockey robot in fact. The 35-year-old veteran continues to impress in the late stages of his career and provided just another one for the lengthy highlight reel against his old club, the Ottawa Senators, Friday night.

With the Blackhawks trailing the Senators late in the second period, Hossa jumped a pass from Marc Methot. Hossa then chipped the puck ahead, reached out with one hand and pushed it past Erik Karlsson, calmly collected it on his backhand and tucked it past Craig Anderson who was just a hair slow to the post.

That thing is just spectacular. You know what this goal could use? A really good GIF. Thanks to Steph (@myregularface) for making a great one here:

That's just a tremendous individual effort from the Blackhawks star. The goal was Hossa's 27th on the year. It wasn't enough for the Blackhawks to avoid a loss, though. The Senators picked up a 5-3 win over the defending champs in Ottawa.
