Sunday might be the final day of the regular season, but it wasn't too late for Ilya Bryzgalov to submit an outstanding entry for the 2013-14 goalie blooper reel.

Bryz, who is likely to go into the playoffs as the Wild's starter having performed so well being dealt to Minnesota at the trade deadline, won't be entering the postseason with his best game. It started with this early goal against, scored by Predators tough guy Rich Clune. Without too much offense to Clune, if you're giving up a goal to him (only six goals in 104 games entering Sunday), something probably went wrong.

Boy did it ever go wrong. Bryz came out of his net to play the puck with the rush bearing down and that's when he picked the most inopportune time to lose an edge. The puck was picked up by the Predators and passed to Clune, who had as easy of a put-away as you'll get. All Bryz could do was watch from well outside the crease.

Bryzgalov has been a wild (pun intended, pardon me) success in Minnesota but that, well that wasn't part of it. In fact, the first two periods weren't good on Sunday, this was just the worst of the worst.

That doesn't include the Clune goal in the first period. Ouch.

The Clune goal won't compete with Mike Smith's Butt Goal but it's right up there with Jonathan Quick's failed save early this season.
