The Anaheim Ducks were seven seconds away from nabbing a well-earned 2-1 win in Game 1 of their series with the Los Angeles Kings. Marian Gaborik had other ideas, however.

After Mike Richards' pass to the front of the net tipped off Ducks defenseman Bryan Allen, it also knocked off Jonas Hiller and up into the air. Gaborik was standing right in front. He swatted at the fluttering puck and put it right between Jonas Hiller's legs with 7.0 on the clock. Tie game and that's the way it stayed for the rest of regulation.

The Ducks had played a really solid game and for much of the contest had controlled the play and were getting the better of the Kings. But if there's one thing we've learned about LA this postseason, they're never out of it until the final buzzer sounds.

The goal was Gaborik's fourth of the postseason and his second point of the night as he made a great play to assist on the game's opening goal scored by Alec Martinez. Gaborik has seven points in eight postseason games this year. Think the Kings are glad they picked this guy up at the deadline? Yep.
