Chicago Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw is out of the lineup for Game 2 on Sunday.

Shaw didn't make it through the first of Game 1, suffering a lower-body injury in the Blackhawks' 5-2 win over the Minnesota Wild. He was listed as day to day by the Blackhawks, leaving his status in doubt almost all the way up to faceoff on Sunday afternoon in Chicago.

Here's a look at the hit that is believed to have done the damage, a hit from Clayton Stoner (via @MyRegularFace).

Without Shaw, Kris Versteeg is getting back in the lineup. The Blackhawks will also have Jeremy Morin on the ice as Brandon Bollig is a scratch for Game 2.

In his first full NHL season, Shaw had 20 goals and 19 assists in 80 games this season, further developing into a bit of a pest and a tough player around the net. This year in seven playoff games he has two goals and two assists while averaging just a shade less than 16 minutes per game.
