After getting his first start of the playoffs in Game 1, Jonas Hiller will be back between the pipes for the Anaheim Ducks Monday night in Game 2 of their second-round series with the Los Angeles Kings. Hiller played well for much of the opening game of the series, but a late goal in regulation and subsequent game-winner in overtime, both off the stick of Marian Gaborik, has the Ducks trailing the series 1-0.

Hiller has 23 playoff appearances in his career and though his most recent game was a loss, that's probably the best any Ducks goalie has looked this postseason. Frederik Andersen started all six games of the Ducks' first-round win over the Dallas Stars, but he was yanked twice including the clinching Game 6.

With the way Hiller played in Game 1, it's not much of a surprise that he will go for the Ducks again, but Anaheim's lack of stability in net is one of the great disparities between the Ducks and Kings.

Jonathan Quick continues to build a solid postseason resume for LA and despite giving up an awful first goal in Game 1, his .927 career save percentage over 58 appearances in the postseason to go along with a Conn Smythe and Stanley Cup sure build confidence.

At this point, it would be fair for the Ducks to have more confidence in Hiller than in young Andersen and his uninspiring .892 save percentage in six appearances this postseason. That puts a lot more pressure on Hiller to perform, as if there wasn't enough already.

A good performance in Game 2 would go a long way for the Ducks and Hiller in terms of building some confidence for the rest of the series. However, falling into an 0-2 hole before the series shifts to LA would be near-disastrous. Monday night's contest is the biggest of the Ducks' postseason to date.
