The Anaheim Ducks have picked a bad time to get injured.

The Ducks will go into Staples Center on Saturday night looking to even up their series with the Kings at two games apiece. But they will have to do it without some key players.

Already the writing was on the wall for one of those changes when the Ducks recalled goalie John Gibson from the AHL. His call up won't be for not as he'll have to suit up because Frederik Andersen will not be able to play after suffering an injury in Game 4.

As to who will start Game 4, well the best bet is certainly on Jonas Hiller, the veteran. He was the first goalie off the ice in the morning skate but that was also the case on Thursday and yet he didn't start. Still, it's tough to imagine they won't go with him and his experience rather than Gibson, who had just three games of NHL experience under his belt.

That's not all for the Ducks. Coach Bruce Boudreau also revealed after the team's skate that Matt Beleskey won't be able to play.

Beleskey had nine goals and 15 assists in 55 games this season. In the playoffs he has appeared in just five games, putting up two goals and two assists in 14:34 of ice time per game.

Daniel Winnik, though, doesn't represent much of a drop-off for the Ducks, he can slip in and help fill that void.

Finally, the Ducks might also be without centerman Mathieu Perreault. He hasn't been ruled out but he hasn't been ruled in yet, either. He's the dreaded game-time decision.

Perreault played 69 games this season for Anaheim, putting up 18 goals and 25 assists in an average of 13:52 per game.
