Brian Boyle is a fourth-liner and a penalty killer for the Rangers but don't take that to mean he doesn't have some skill in his game.

In the final minute of the second period of a 1-1 Game 5 on Friday night and the Rangers on the penalty kill, Carl Hagelin used his speed to beat the Kings to the puck when it trickled past the blue line. He fought off the defense long enough to get the puck to Boyle, who had a 1-on-1 with Drew Doughty.

From there Boyle crossed Doughty to free up enough space for a shot and then with Quick coming out to aggressively contest the shot, Boyle snapped it over his shoulder and into the top shelf on the far post. Incredible shot.

In the matter of a couple minutes, the Rangers' special teams flipped a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 lead as Boyle scored just a couple of minutes after his fellow Boston College alum Chris Kreider scored on the power play.

Boyle, a former King, is New York's prime penalty killer and it turns out he's pretty dangerous too. It was his third goal of the postseason and a momentum swing like no other to close out the period.
