Los Angeles is starting to get used to this.

Monday afternoon was LA's chance to fete their Stanley Cup champion Kings for the second time in three years. Going down the same route as 2012, the Kings packed double-decker busses to parade down Figeroa Street in downtown Los Angeles as fans stood along the route to see and cheer their favorite players and the Stanley Cup.

The parade, which took place in the middle of a work day, grew more and more crowded as the parade continued down Figueroa toward Staples Center where the crowd to see the team was packed around the corner. The parade came before the team and Stanley Cup filed into the arena for a rally and the ongoing party.

Here's a taste of what parade through downtown.

Here is your highlight of the parade part of the fesitivities: Darryl Sutter caught changing shirts before the parade began. He's been holding out on the gun show tickets.

Lastly, a look at what the people on the busses saw as the Kings pulled up to Staples Center.

There's nothing quite like a championship parade in sports.
