One of the more memorable moments of the postseason came in the Eastern Conference semifinal between the Bruins and Canadiens when P.K. Subban sort of freaked out on the Bruins bench and Shawn Thornton. Thornton responded with an evil-looking chuckle because as the cameras showed, he got away with a water squirt on Subban during play.
A fan of the Bruins loved this moment so much that he decided he never wanted to forget it. To achieve this, he just had his body inked up with an exaggerated version of events.
Behold the tattoo (we think you can call this one that).
The tattoo comes out of Bridgewater, Mass., from artist Charlie Robbins. It's certainly an interesting take on the squirt and we don't necessarily have any qualms about the actual art, even if the water is a bit much.
It's not my body so to each his own but if I were a Bruins fan I don't think I would want to commemorate a moment from a series in which the Bruins lost and one of Shawn Thornton's final moves as a Bruins player but then again, it might be about a bit more than just the series or the event; it's about the rivalry too.
Either way, that's quite the tattoo.
