Get ready for your inner elementary school student to geek out a bit. The Nashville Predators allowed local kids to come to Bridgestone Arena and hang out on the ice surface for a bit. But it wasn't for a lazy skate around the home rink of the Preds. That would be too predictable.

Oh no, it was to give them the largest coloring page they have ever seen.

The school-age kids were welcomed to the arena to paint the ice and did they ever get to work.

From random doodles to tributes to Predators players including one of the newest members of the squad, “The real DEAL James Neal.”

Is there a better way to get out of the summer heat than hanging around an ice rink? Skating probably would have been fun, but legal graffiti is a pretty decent alternative.

Whatever summer camp lets you do that, sign 10-year-old me up.
