The Anaheim Ducks are probably not too excited about heading on the road again.

After a successful homestand, Anaheim looks to avoid its longest road losing streak in more than four years Thursday night when it meets the Dallas Stars.

The Ducks went 0-3-1 on a four-game trip from Nov. 11-16, falling to 0-4-2 in their last six away from home. They followed that trip with a season high-tying seven-game homestand and earned points in five of those contests (4-2-1).

Anaheim now tries to avoid dropping seven in a row on the road for the first time since Oct. 8-Nov. 3, 2005. The team has won three of its last four in Dallas after going 7-26-3 with two ties in its first 38 visits.

The Ducks (10-12-4) are also trying to avoid a third straight loss overall. They won three in a row last week before falling 3-2 in overtime to Phoenix on Sunday and 4-3 to Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Anaheim was behind 3-1 against the Kings before tying it on Todd Marchant's goal at 5:29 of the third period. Los Angeles responded by scoring the winner with 2:20 remaining.

"We gave ourselves a chance. Todd Marchant goes out and gets us a goal that was a huge emotional boost for us," left wing Bobby Ryan said. "But they came right down and scored not too long afterwards. We've done that numerous times this year. It's something we've addressed and gone over a number of times, but it seems to keep happening."

Five of the Ducks' last six losses came in games that were tied at some point in the third period.

Anaheim's Corey Perry had a goal and an assist Tuesday to extend his point streak to 19, tied for the longest by an NHL player since Paul Stastny's 20-game run for Colorado in 2006-07. Sidney Crosby also had a 19-game streak for Pittsburgh two seasons ago.

Perry's streak started with an assist in a 4-2 loss to the Stars on Oct. 21. He has 10 goals and 16 assists in the 19 games.

The veteran right wing has 10 points in his last 11 games against Dallas (12-8-7).

The Stars fell for the third time in four games Monday, allowing the last three goals in a 4-1 loss at Detroit.

Brenden Morrow's team high-tying 11th goal tied it at 1-all in the first period, but Dallas managed six shots on goal in the second and the Red Wings scored twice on 13 shots.

"We found a way to lose the game and not even compete in it," center Steve Ott said.

The Stars now return home, where they're 3-0-1 in their last four and have earned points in 10 of 13.

"You play one good game against a good team and then you go and, whoops, and then you play a good game and then, whoops," defenseman Stephane Robidas told the Stars' official Web site. "It's been up and down and that's where we've got to focus. We've got to get on a roll, get that winning streak together."

These teams meet again in Anaheim on Tuesday.
