PHILADELPHIA -- Mike Fisher scored the second of his two goals on a short-handed breakaway with 1:57 left in the third period to give the Ottawa Senators a 4-3 exhibition victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night.

Philadelphia's Simon Gagne had tied it with 3:54 to go with a shot from in close on a power play after Ottawa's Denis Hamel and Chris Neil scored power-play goals in a 1:53 span to give the Senators (1-3) a 3-2 lead.

Philadelphia captain Peter Forsberg made an unexpected early return to the ice and assisted on Derian Hatcher's goal in the second period.

Forsberg, who missed 22 games during the 2005-06 season because of groin injuries, had surgery to repair ligament damage on his right foot on May 15. Initially, he was expected to miss about half the 2006-07 season. He was selected the team captain when Keith Primeau was forced to retire because of post concussion symptoms.

Joni Pitkanen also scored for the Flyers (2-1).

Philadelphia's Robert Esche made 27 saves. Ottawa's Martin Gerber allowed two goals on 14 shots in two periods before being replaced by Jeff Glass.

Ottawa was without defenseman Joe Corvo. He's expected to miss at least four weeks after breaking his right foot Friday night in a loss to Buffalo.
