The Chicago Blackhawks are going to have wait another day for the return of Andrew Shaw, the forward will miss Game 4 against the Wild on Friday.

Shaw has been day-to-day since suffering an injury in Game 1 of the series but has yet to play again. The Blackhawks took practice on Thursday in St. Paul and Shaw wasn't on the ice with his teammates once again. Already the Hawks ruled him out for Friday night.

The Blackhawks have been working on settling into a lineup the last couple of games without Shaw but there could be more tweaking after being shut out by the Wild and getting fewer than 20 shots on net in Game 3. In practice, coach Joel Quenneville had his lines in a blender so we'll have to see how much change, if any, the Blackhawks have in Game 4.

In 80 games this season, the 22-year-old Shaw had 20 goals and 19 assists, five of his goals coming on the power play where he does a very good job around the net. In seven playoff games this season he has two goals and two assists.
