Vancouver Canucks goalie prospect Eddie Lack is currently suiting up for the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League. He recently received some new pads (leg pads, blocker, and glove) that prominently feature the Wolves logo.

The photo above (via Reddit Hockey) shows what they look like in action, and they're pretty sweet.

When it comes to fashion and creativity, it's usually the goalie masks that get all of the attention. But in this case, Lack has it going on with his pads as well.

Lack's pads are made by Brian's Custom Sports, a company that also put together the pads worn by former Winnipeg Jets goalie Chris Mason last season.

The Canucks signed Lack out of Sweden before the 2010-11 season, and he has been one of the better goalies in the AHL since then. If the Canucks ever decide to complete the long-rumored Roberto Luongo trade, Lack would be the most likely candidate to step in as the backup to former first-round pick Cory Schneider at the NHL level. In six games in the AHL this season, Lack has a 4-2 record with a .910 save percentage.

Last season, he posted a .925 save percentage with the Wolves.
