David Dziurzynski tries to fight Frazer McLaren; it doesn't go well
Ottawa Senators rookie David Dziurzynski tried to fight Frazer McLaren on Wednesday night and it did not go very well.
Ottawa Senators rookie David Dziurzynski entered Wednesday's game in Toronto having never fought in the National Hockey League. That all changed early in the first period. He would have been better off had he simply avoided it.
The Senators announced that Dziurzynski suffered a concussion as a result of the fight.

At the risk of continuing to beat a dead horse that I've beaten quite often over the past week, this was one of those fights -- like the vast majority of fights that take place in the NHL -- that simply serves no purpose in the game. It was off of the second faceoff of the game, away from the play, and less than 30 seconds into the game.
What was the point?
There was none. Seems worth the risk, doesn't it?
Dziurzynski, 23, has scored two goals in his first nine games with the Senators this season.
