GIF: Jonathan Quick doesn't like Kyle Palmieri running into him
Jonathan Quick shared his displeasure with Kyle Palmieri after the Ducks forward ran into him on a rush at the Stadium Series.
Jonathan Quick spent a few months on the shelf with an injury, so when he got run into during Saturday night’s Stadium Series game, he wasn’t too happy about it.
Anaheim Ducks forward Kyle Palmieri drove hard to the net and took some contact from Alec Martinez . Palmieri seemed to try to avoid Quick, but he was unsuccessful. The goaltender also had to deal with Nolan, who fell on him as well.
Palmieri slid all the way to the corner, but that wasn’t too far for Quick to skate over and share his displeasure with what transpired. Quick got his gloves up near Palmieri’s face and thanks to the unique camera angles provided by an outdoor game, we got a front-row look at Quick’s reaction.
Palmieri received a minor for goalie interference, while none of the Kings received any penalties on the play.
