Since the Tampa Bay Lightning were on the road last week when franchise favorite Martin St. Louis played in his 1,000th career game, the Lightning took the chance to celebrate the great achievement for the undrafted player when they returned home on Monday night against the Rangers.

After the pregame ceremony complete with a presentation from GM Steve Yzerman and hearty applause from the fans, St. Louis did what he does and that's score. He found himself on a breakaway and beat Henrik Lundqvist for an early 2-0 Lightning lead.

St. Louis was obviously pumped and did the always fun fist pump celebration skating alongside the boards as he has done hundreds of times before. Except usually he doesn't end up on his rump.

Well, you celebrate enough times and that's bound to happen. Don't worry Marty, it really does happen to the best of 'em.
