GIF: Zac Rinaldo takes out two Bruins, linesman with one hit

In one single (big) hit, Zac Rinaldo took out Jarome Iginla, Andrej Meszaros and the linesman on Sunday. He then fought Iginla and hit him even harder.

Zac Rinaldo isn't the biggest guy in the league but he's as ferocious as they come. He'll take on anybody and knows part of his job with the Flyers is to throw the hits.

And boy did he throw one on Sunday against the Bruins.

Rinaldo had Bruins leading goal scorer Jarome Iginla lined up right near the Flyers blue line and he unloaded, sending Iginla flying to the ice. The hit was so good though that it didn't just take out Iginla, it also got Andrej Meszaros and the linesman as well. With one hit. GIF courtesy of @cjzero.

There was nothing wrong with that hit, it was clean and frankly a thing of beauty. But this being the NHL, it still brought on more action, specifically a fight with Iginla. Never one to shy away from a fight, Iginla went toe to toe with Rinaldo.

The first half of the game was full of physical play and great action. Too bad the new playoff format could prevent this from being a matchup until the Eastern Conference finals should they both get there.
