Jori Lehtera with awesome penalty shot goal at KHL All-Star game
This penalty shot goal from Jori Lehtera at the KHL All-Star game is pretty awesome. Mainly because he never shot the puck.
With the NHL lockout finally over and the return of the NHL less than a week away we haven't been paying as much attention to the KHL -- or any European hockey league -- as we had been over the previous two months.
But this penalty shot goal from Jori Lehtera at the KHL All-Star game is pretty awesome and too good to overlook.
Mainly because he never actually shot the puck.
And the goalie on the wrong end of that move? That would be CSKA Moscow's Rastislav Stana.
Lehtera was a third-round draft pick by the St. Louis Blues in 2008 and has spent the past two seasons playing for Novosibirsk of the KHL. In 41 games this season has scored 12 goals with 29 assists.
