Toronto Maple Leafs GM Dave Nonis was taken to the hospital on Saturday night, not having as good of a night as the Maple Leafs.
Nonis was treated by team doctors in the press box after beginning to feel "fluish and unwell" according to Sportsnet. Shortly thereafter he was taken to the hospital and spend the night while being evaluated further. The good news is that his stay was expected to be short and he would be out of the hospital on Sunday.

By leaving the arena when he did, Nonis missed his Leafs score a goal in the third period to complete a comeback on the Senators in their home opener, one they finished with a shootout victory to start the season with three straight wins despite the absence of Nonis' big offseason signing, David Clarkson.
