Minnesota Wild release updated, cleaner road sweater
The Wild joined the long list of NHL teams with jersey redesigns this summer when they showed off new road whites over the weekend.
The Summer of Style in the NHL continued this weekend as the Minnesota Wild joined the litany of teams making minor changes to their look. While the Wild didn't alter any part of their home design, they did change things up on the road whites.
All in all, it's a pretty good redesign. The previous sweater had the green shoulder yoke going all the way down the sleeve and then a solid green and red on the bottom. Now the white kit looks a lot, you know, whiter, with the green remaining only on the shoulder and the bottom now having green stripes instead of a multi-colored blob.
Here's a comparison of the old and new side-by-side.
Verdict: Good changes, looks a lot cleaner and more focused.
