• NHL veteran Dominic Moore missed the final playoff games with the Sharks last season after his wife was diagnosed with cancer. She lost her fight with the disease in January and now Moore is talking about it for the first time. (Globe and Mail)
• Veteran Jason Arnott isn't ready to call it quits, and the Blues aren't ready to say good bye to him yet either. He is going to get a look in practice and from there the Blues will decide if they want to give him another go. (True Hockey)
• The Lightning's Tom Pyatt scored a goal on Monday night in Pittsburgh. To be more specific, Tom Pyatt's nose scored a goal on Monday night as the puck shot off of his face and into the net. He had the bloody nose to show for it and everything.
