The NHL announced Saturday that Phoenix Coyotes forward Paul Bissonnette's suspension has been reduced from 10 games to three. Bissonnette had eventually been given the 10-game suspension for leaving the bench during an altercation on the ice.

The event in question occurred during a preseason game earlier this month, and the league says that there is a lack of video evidence to accurately assess when Bissonnette left the bench during the fight.

Bissonnette will be eligible to return to the ice Oct. 10 against the Red Wings.
